Littiz, I don't have a sad face, I like Keldy (whereas *ahem* you're trying to kill him ), and all this honour-bound staff. But I tell you: tresspassing laws seems to me a necessity from time to time in order to achieve a global good and fairness for most people. So, I'd like Chaotic Good better; but if that's what I am, so be it!
We're only trying to kill Keldy because someone dared us to find any mage who could beat his Keldorn, it's not that we don't like him. IMHO Keldorn is one of the better NPCs in BG2, but a dare's a dare.
And NG characters can also break laws when required, they're Neutral
Good. That means they don't care either way, if following the law will serve the forces of goodness then they'll follow them, if not they won't. The only alignments who wouldn't occasionally break the law for the greater good is Lawful alignments.
FYI, Neutral Good is also called "True Good", as all that matters is whether something is good or not, not whether it's lawful or chaotic.
