If you read the warning that comes with the improved battle, you should see that having it installed when starting a new ToB character is not recommended. Without a party, you will get killed. If you persist in this masochism, try just concentrating on Illasera, as when she dies everyone else runs o...

Only place I found Banshees is if you fight that lich in the Cave of the Dead, in Amkethran. He summons some. I don't think there are any Shambling Mounds in SoA

Hmm...a flail is meant to be one of the hardest weapons to master - so putting it in your left hand, and having another weapon as well is NOT ON. Oh well, that's gaming for you - time for the suspension bridge of disbelief...

@Jaker, there is no non-cheese tactic against Kangaxx, for the simple reason that he, by the god-given gift of Bioware, he uses the ULTIMATE CHEESE(TM). I mean, it doesn't get any cheesier than infinite imprisonments, neh? The least cheesiest is Kevin Ds, but won't Fire Elementals get imprisoned too...

Kevin D. & Sabre, a bugfix request...

I have the Boots of Speed fix from Baldurdash which I find very useful, but I also rely on the Grandmaster's Armour to double the speed of my entire party. This armour does the same thing as the Boots in standard BG2/ToB do, so when I haste my party everyone goes at 4x speed except poor Minsc, who i...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Good luck, mate Seriously, if even two gave up on the Beastmaster, I would be very interested if you complete the game. And @two, can't Beastmasters wear all armours that normal Rangers can, i.e. all? That's what it says in the manual, anyways. And I think the White Dragon Scale...

These don't keep coming out, they split. Fission Slimes (for that is what they are) are a new type of slimes (read a copy of Elmisters Ecologies Volume IIIa) which split into two when you kill them. The only way to kill them properly is by using fire. If the lich is standing in the middle still, I f...

Bondari and co are petrified adventurers you find in Abazigal's lair, in the area with the eyes, where you need to get the Gauth's eyestalk for some wild mage. He's near the top of the area.

AFAIK, it just triggers dialogs that would happen anyway if you stood around long enough. But if your saves get corrupted, don't come to me ;)
I had to do CTRL-I several times before each dialog would trigger...does anyone have more detailed info about how this works?

Well, a Bastard sword is one-handed. It does 2d4 damage, not 2d8, so it does 2/3 base damage of the holy avenger.

CTRL-I does some weird stuff. It seems to have a dual purpose. The funny abbreviations you see are special effects, and you are scrolling through the list. Press CTRL-L to activate the one selected. CTRL-I also triggers dialog, if all the right conditions are met(right time, right type of area, righ...

Well my debug line is under [Game Options] and it works fine - I think it can be either. You write " with Shift-#, which would normally be a ~, that's what I found to work, but an american keyboard might have a still different mapping. If you really get stuck copy it from a text file and paste it in...
