When your Hand To Hand skill is less than 40, you can receive training from the following NPCs:
- Rufrius Vinicius (Anvil Fighters Guild)
- Nahsi (Bravil Fighters Guild)
When your Hand To Hand skill is between 40 and 70, you must seek further training from the following NPCs:
- Ra'qanar (Castle Cheydinhal)
- Davela Hlaren (Imperial Bridge Inn)
Once you've learned everything you can from the second tier trainers, speak with either of them about "Training" to learn that a master trainer exists that can teach you the most advanced techniques the skill has to offer. The martial artist you're looking for is Helvius Cecia, a quiet man who lives in the southeast corner of Bruma.
Helvius wants to know whether or not you can fight before he takes you under his wing. He offers you a sparring match to prove your mettle, and you won't be able to use any sort of weapon. If you can do enough unarmed damage to him before he gets "bored", he'll give you the training you seek.
If you're having trouble inflicting enough damage, keep building your Hand To Hand skill and Strength until you can dish out the necessary pain. You may even want to look at your equipment selection or cast a few buffs before you go toe-to-toe with him. Once you've impressed Helvius enough, the boxing match comes to a close and you're able to purchase training from him.
