Feral shipping Fable: The Lost Chapters for Mac March 31st
Feral Interactive has announced Monday, March 31st as the release date for Fable: The Lost Chapters, the best-selling action role-playing game for the Mac.
Created by Lionhead Studios, the game invites players to take the role of a legendary Hero and create his life story from child to old man. Players are challenged to undertake quests and perform great deeds and in so doing must make a multitude of choices and decisions along the way. Each decision and every action shapes the character of the Hero; skills, appearance and even morality are all affected.
"It's been a long time in coming, but we are extremely proud of Fable: The Lost Chapters,” said Feral Interactive’s David Stephen. “We're confident it will set a new standard for action RPGs on the Mac both for Intel and PowerPC based machines."
“It’s great to see Fable: The Lost Chapters refined and balanced for the Mac especially as there is a real dearth of RPGs on this platform,” commented Lionhead game designer Peter Molyneux. “For me the Mac is an icon of style and technology within the computer world and so it’s fantastic that Fable: The Lost Chapters can now be played on it.”
The game will retail in the U.S. for $50.00, £34.99 (inc VAT) in the UK and 50.00 euros throughout Europe. It is currently available for pre-orders from Feral's online store (http://www.feralinteractive.com/?section=buy&language=english).
Minimum system requirements call for a 1.6GHz or faster PowerPC or Intel-based Mac, 512MB RAM, 64MB graphics card and Mac OS X v10.4.8 or later.
More details and selected trailers of the game are now available at...
