Take-Two Interactive Acquires Irrational Games |

IGN PC is reporting that Take-Two Interactive has purchased Irrational Games, the developer behind the popular Freedom Force titles, System Shock 2, and the upcoming BioShock. A snip:
Take Two confirmed the acquisition with IGN this morning. The buy slides the drooled-after BioShock, along another unannounced Irrational title, under Take Two's wing. Irrational will maintain its team and offices. Take Two intends to leave Irrational creatively independent. I'm still undecided if this is good or bad news. What if Take-Two decides to shut them down sometime in the future like we've seen happen to so many other developers?
