38 Studios to Debut Project Mercury at San Diego Comic-Con

I don't think they were supposed to spill the beans on this just yet, but Destructoid is reporting that 38 Studios will be taking the wraps off of Project Mercury (the RPG formerly known as Ascendant) at this month's San Diego Comic-Con. We're apparently even going to get a trailer for the game, so expect lots of new info on Ken Rolston's project in a couple of weeks:
38 Studios, the development team put together by former Major League Baseball pitcher Curt Schilling, will finally be revealing its upcoming project at San Diego Comic Con.

The title, the role-playing game codenamed "Project Mercury," has been in development with famed comic book artist Todd McFarlane as the art director. The game will be revealed during a panel which takes place on Thursday, July 22 from 1:15pm to 2:15pm (in Room 6A, if you plan to attend).

McFarlane will be on-hand, along with the game's lead designer Ken Rolston and its executive creator, R.A. Salvatore. A trailer for the game, directed by McFarlane, will make its premiere. Bonus? Everyone who attends gets a limited-edition poster.
