Mass Effect 2 Overlord DLC Reviews

A few more favorable reviews are in for Mass Effect 2's Overlord DLC, starting with a short critique from Joystiq:
While "Overlord" has little bearing on the whole of ME2, it's far more self-contained than "Kasumi," with its own arc and own emotional wallop. It's a fitting conclusion for a game head-and-shoulders-and-most-of-torso above others in its class in terms of storytelling.

Then we stop by MTV Multiplayer:
"Overlord" has a blend of good ideas, cool visuals, and pacing akin to a riptide, but it doesn't add anything to the overall "Mass Effect 2" experience. Like all the PDLC thus far, it's non-essential, yet well designed. Perhaps it's a bit selfish of me to want so much out of DLC, but "Mass Effect 2" hits on so many levels that I feel like its content needs to be more than what has been. Perhaps the next bit will offer more. It can't rain all the time, right?

And, finally, Game Revolution for a score of "B+":
Regardless how you classify it, everything in this DLC is so exciting to play through, that it doesn't make feel like this an attempt to grab even more money from players. Overlord is a tightly knit downloadable content that is well worth your time and 560 Microsoft Points.
