Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned Previews

A couple more E3 2010-based previews of Propaganda's Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned hit the Internet over the weekend.

We start off at Joystiq:
Those abilities are one of the many things governed by the morality system -- in the game, you can choose to become Legendary or Dreaded, and that affects all sorts of things, from the way that you look and move to the loot, the story and cutscenes that you get to see. Dreaded is "about embracing the supernatural, living on the outskirts of society," I was told, and Legendary "is all about seeking celebrity, all about agility and swashbuckling."

Before moving on to Destructoid:
We quickly came across the first enemy, a fully mutated local, to get our first taste of combat. Buttons are assigned to swordplay, and combos are possible with some effort. All of these moves can be punctuated by gunfire from your pistol. We were also able to curse an enemy by holding the R2 button and hitting the square button. This stuns the enemy, leaving them open for more swordplay, making them easier to take down. The curse can also spread to other nearby enemies, making your work much easier if you time it just right.
