Joystiq has posted a quick summary of the press conference that Electronic Arts hosted at E3 last night, which includes some photographs of Star Wars: The Old Republic in action and details that were revealed by BioWare's Greg Zeschuk during the presentation. Apparently we'll be getting our own starship (inspired by the Ebon Hawk, no doubt) to use as a "base of operations" in the game:
Players will battle it out player-vs-player-style in "War Zones." The first of which is in Alderaan.

First off, every player will get his or her own starship. It's a base of operations, as well as, you know, a ship.
