Dragon Age: Origins PS3 Patch Coming Soon

Owners of the PlayStation 3 version of Dragon Age: Origins have been upset for the past couple of weeks, thanks to crashing issues introduced in the console's recently released 3.30 firmware update. BioWare has been working on the problem ever since, and now we learn (via Fernando Melo on the official forums) that a patch to address the issue has been sent off to Sony and will presumably be made available in the coming days:
Just to let you all know that the patch has gone through EA Cert and has now made it to Sony's hands! I don't have an official release date estimate yet, but with a little bit of luck we may still see it late this week. I'll update you when we know more.

The upcoming patch addresses:

- The high rate of crashing on firmware 3.3.

- The issue where redeeming codes was no longer showing the free download items.

- Adds the trophies for the upcoming Darkspawn Chronicles DLC

Once again, my sincere thanks to all of you that posted on here and helped us track this down.
Sounds like we'll have a full list of Darkspawn Chronicles achievements in the near future, too.
