Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes Reviews

Ubisoft and Capybara's Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes continues to generate favorable reviews, with four more reaching the Internet over the past week or so.

GameSpot gives it a :
All things considered, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes has a lot going for it, including intriguing hybrid mechanics, callbacks to a classic strategy series, enjoyable puzzle battles, and a well-written story that could have come out of a vintage 16-bit RPG. Since the puzzle gameplay is an integral part of the battle system, and since the role-playing elements are the star of the game's main attraction--Story mode--you'll need to be a fan of both puzzle games and RPGs to get the most out of Clash of Heroes. However, if you are a fan of both game genres, you'll find a very good puzzle game and a great console RPG experience here.

Blogcritics Gaming gives it a 4/5:
From top to bottom Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is without a doubt one of the best games to hit the DS in some time. The gameplay is incredibly addictive, the story is engaging, and the presentation is stellar for the hardware. This is a unique title with lots to offer, though I will say that it's geared more towards those unfamiliar with the Might & Magic license. It's such a departure from tradition that fans of the franchise may feel left out in the cold. Don't let that deter you though, keep an open mind and check this one out if you own a DS. You'll be glad you did!

Eurogamer gives it an 8/10:
All the same, the campaign is huge, with five factions to command through a storyline of solid if unremarkable fantasy guff. There are a good 30 hours of single-player action alone for a talented and lucky player. Add to this the limitless possibilities of multiplayer - accessible with a single cartridge and two handhelds - and you've a huge chunk of game.

GamingExcellence gives it an 8.5/10:
Clash of Heroes, on the outside, looks like a crazy smorgasbord of genres and gameplay types. But what lies beneath this is an intricate game that is filled with strategy and involving puzzle gameplay. It's a great title with some good sprite art to go with its battle system, and while it may not be perfect for everybody, likely anyone who enjoys a good battle, or puzzle, will get a kick out of how the genres come together.

And RPGFan gives it an 88%:
Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes comes highly recommended, whether or not you've played any other games in the M&M franchise. This is not a bastardization of the series. If anything, Clash of Heroes may become the catalyst to resurrect a franchise that was once on its last legs.
