Gameplanet and Kotaku are reporting that Microsoft intends to release a "limited edition" Mass Effect 2-themed Xbox 360 Elite in Australia and New Zealand.  The bundle includes a standard Elite console with a 250 GB hard drive, two controlleres, and a copy of Mass Effect 2.  Unfortunately, the console unit doesn't come equipped with a proper paint job, but it sounds like this assortment is already available (or will be soon), which means it's the best way for you to get your hands on an early copy of ME2.

There's no word on whether this same bundle will make its way to North America or Europe, though.
