There's a video walkthrough on Vimeo showing off a "proof of concept" version of the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop game being played on the Microsoft Surface platform. There's isn't a whole lot shown, but the way in which the overland and battle maps are manipulated is nothing short of awesome. If Microsoft Surface ever becomes affordable for non-business uses, then tabletop gaming seems to be the perfect application for it.
