One of the biggest gameplay changers however is the new (skirmish) system where players can invite friends regardless of where they are to play. There is no travel involved, it is more of a (drop in and out) style of play for specific instances there the players are all taken out of where they are in the game and afterwards placed back.

This takes place through a drop down menu, where the person leading the skirmish selects the level of the instance desired, the number in the party, and so on. The skirmish system will be available in all areas of Lord of the Rings Online, so it really is a big (game changer) this doesn't just come with the new area. Skirmishes are even available in Bree.
