Fallout 3 Point Lookout DLC Reviews

AtomicGamer and TheJRE are the latest websites to kick out favorable reviews of Bethesda's Point Lookout addon for Fallout 3.

AtomicGamer goes with an 85/100:
For most gamers, mods don't play much into their style and the bugs still left in Fallout 3 aren't really killing the experience. If you haven't experienced a problem yet, then you won't with Point Lookout either. What you will get is a solid story that delivers several hours of interesting dialogue and familiar FO3 action - but make sure to explore a little to dig up the rest of what this add-on has to offer. Point Lookout isn't going to change the way Fallout 3 is played, but it's a welcome trip outside Bethesda's comfort zone and we look forward to further expansion of the scope of the Fallout experience. And if you guys at Bethesda don't mind, we PC gamers would also like to see a patch that actually addresses some issues as well!

While TheJRE remains scoreless:
So, harkening back to my earlier statements about where Point Lookout ranks amongst the other Fallout 3 DLC, I can say that this new content is a fine addition to the library, and one that any fan of the game would enjoy. However, I often get asked which one offering is the best by people who want to try them, but haven't taken the plunge on any of the expansions yet. And to them, I would have to say get Broken Steel above all else.

But when you're done with Broken Steel, and you got the itch to go kill some truly awful things, then don't be shy about taking a trip out to Point Lookout. It'll most definitely be worth your time.
