Fallout 3 Point Lookout DLC Reviews

A selection of new reviews for Bethesda's Point Lookout addon made their way to the Internet over the weekend.

The first is at Pads & Panels with no score:
(Point Lookout) is by all accounts the most entertaining piece of DLC for Fallout 3 yet. It is incredibly polished and goes further in offering gamers a new experience, visually removed from the familiar wasteland, than any of the previous additions.

The second is at Feed Your Console with a score of 9.5/10:
Bethesda really seems to be upping the ante with Point Lookout - It's bigger (took me close to 4 hours to complete), adds more enemies, creates a really intriguing story that will hopefully be explored further and it really shows every other developers what it truly means to keep a game fresh and exciting.

The third is at Threevue with no score:
If you're playing Fallout 3, this DLC should be bought, second only to the Broken Steel DLC because that one unlocks the level 30 cap.

The fourth is at Rejected Gamer with a score of "Get It!":
All in all, I had a blast with Point Lookout! Granted there was one thing that bothered me while playing and that was when I walked. When you look at the ground and walked, it didn't flow smoothly. It felt jerky while walking, but like most Fallout DLC, it still has bugs that need to be worked out. Other than that, the landscape of the entire island looked great, and you can spend countless hours exploring. If you're looking for a new Fallout 3 experience, this is it, and it's worth the price!

And the fifth is at Over The Top Gamer with a score of "A+":
The story in Point Lookout is really good but like I said before it's not that rewarding so if your looking for cool new items after completing it your going to be a little disappointed. Point Lookout is definitely the exploring man's DLC and it's got to be the meatiest piece of DLC that Bethesda has cooked up. I think it well deserves your 800 MP.
