Overlord II promises to be everything the first game could have been, with a little bit more. At the current stage of development it's already clear that this is exactly what you're going to get. Set in a new era, you'll no longer be roaming the countryside in a medieval kingdom. It's time for the Overlord to reclaim the land from the '˜Glorious Empire', a Roman-style government that has brought prosperity to the people but at a price. These corrupt controllers want to rid the world of those with magic powers, and as a young child, your character will escape their clutches with the help of tiny cackling minions in need of a master. You'll grow into a strong and hugely evil leader who will lead your band of gremlin-like creatures on a path of either destruction or dominance.
