Fallout 3 The Pitt DLC Reviews

The new week kicks off with three more mediocre to favorable reviews of Bethesda's The Pitt DLC for Fallout 3.

The first is at Den of Geek with a score of 2/5:
The Pitt, while it lasts, is actually pretty enjoyable, and the world looks great, with some nice touches, but Bethesda could have given us a little more meat, and so The Pitt isn't the DLC I was hoping for. Let's hope Broken Steel can finally give Fallout 3 the DLC it deserves.

The second is at Boomtown with a score of 8/10:
When reviewing Operation Anchorage I was torn whether the game was worth the 800 points. I don't have such problems with this review. If you fully explore the world, and don't use game guides to find all 100 Ingots, you have more than four hours of game time here. The storyline is much better, and because of all the choices that can be made throughout the game, the replay value alone gives this game extra score. In my honest opinion, any Fallout 3 owner must get this DLC.

And the third is at Blast Magazine with a score of 7/10:
The Pitt, though flawed, still makes for a decent DLC. Without the glitches, I'd say that this DLC beats Operation: Anchorage hands down. However, with the glitches, The Pitt is still a step below O:A. The Pitt will last for as many hours as it's users want it to. With the decent number of side missions and moderately complex main quest, this DLC will last you somewhere between 3-8 hours. At $9.99, this isn't a bad buy. But, with all of the problems it's been causing it's users, wait and see if Bethesda will release another updated version before you invest.
