Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Reviews

The weekend brings us a couple more fairly enthusiastic reviews of Mythic Entertainment's Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. We'll start with GameSpot where they've given the MMORPG a score of 8.5/10:
This isn't the most well-rounded massively multiplayer online game, but Warhammer Online grabs the tuskgor by the horns, delivering the finest PVP content seen in a traditional persistent world RPG. Questers and explorers may not find what they're looking for, and certain gameplay systems don't mesh as well as they should. Nevertheless, there's more than enough exciting PVP content here to keep newcomers and veterans alike immersed in the perpetually violent tug of war between the forces of Order and Destruction. Or as the Orcs say: Waaagh!

And then move to Gameplayer where the score is also an 8.5/10:
We'd usually advise waiting a month or two with MMO titles, for major patches to fix any foibles, but WAR actually feels very stable and polished at launch. Plus, we get Oceanic servers! With visceral RvR combat, a huge selection of races and classes, and some truly humorous quest dialogue (go Greenskins to see what we mean), it's a great time to jump into Warhammer Online. WAAAGH!
