Good news, Sacred fans! Ascaron Entertainment's official Sacred 2: Fallen Angel website brings word that the game has gone gold and will be on store shelves on October 2nd.
SACRED 2 Fallen Angel reaches Gold status!

ASCARON and Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, announced today that SACRED 2 Fallen Angel has reached gold status, and copies are currently being pressed. This means that the scheduled release of the PC version on October 2, 2008 can go ahead.

ASCARON further announced that Sacred 2 has passed the "Games for Windows" quality check. Games bearing this seal have been thoroughly tested on all current Windows versions, and support the built-in Windows Vista parental control functions.
