Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Interview

Warhammer Online's Josh Drescher took the time to answer a handful of questions about the soon-to-be-released MMORPG over at Stratics.
Stratics: There was mention that siege weapons had a sort of a mini-game attached to their use. Are any other mini-games going to be a part of the game either at release or after launch?

Josh Drescher: When we say there's a 'mini game' what we mean is it's not just fire and forget. It's not just like you right-click on the weapon and it fires on a pre-determined line and that's all it ever does. The types of mini-games we're talking about, if you're using a catapult for example, you have to account for the pitch of the fire, you have to account for the wind direction and speed, you have to account for how much power you want to put behind it...um...we really wanted to make sure it was a system that actually felt like you were *using* a siege-weapon rather than just clicking on something and having it fire off. We have that sensibility in a number of places throughout the game but in terms of how it applies to siege, that's what we mean by a mini game.
