Numen: Contest of Heroes Peek #3

A third installment to RPG Vault's ongoing "peek" features for Cinemax's Numen: Contest of Heroes is now available. This time around, we learn about the game's character attribute and skill systems:
The class of your character affects his or her basic attributes. There are six in total. For every class, two are designated as the primary attributes. They are Strength and Endurance for a warrior, Focus and Intellect for a mage and Dexterity and Quickness for a hunter. Whenever you gain a new level, all of them are raised automatically, the primary ones more than the secondary. Some points are also left for you to allocate manually in whatever manner you would like.

Then, there are skills. Every ability or even basic attack you perform relies on one. When you strike at an enemy with a sword, you're using your mastery of that weapon type. If your hunter plays a defensive tune, he'll be employing his knowledge of the lyre. Your skills rise when you use them, but only to a certain degree for every level that your hero advances. If you keep using your axe, you will reach the limit, and at your current level, there's no way you can continue to improve at handling it.
