Numen: Contest of Heroes Peek #2

RPG Vault has cranked out a second "peek" feature for Akella and Cinemax's Numen: Contest of Heroes, this time focusing on locations and transportation.
Going back to the town to sell or buy items, to listen to the latest gossip or to acquire some new skills is pretty common in RPGs, and we didn't see any need to change that. However, if the hero wants to succeed and outrun all the others there's no point in dwelling in Machatar for too long...

He can, for example, use a portal to get to Cyrene, which lies on the coast of Libya. This small community is the one and only civilized Greek place on the dark continent. It is struggling against never-ending raids by the savage natives, and will become his or her starting point when traveling into the desert. There is no denying that this arid region of Libya is a dangerous and unforgiving place. Shrouded in a constant fog of sand storms, it is populated by giant worms and barbarous warriors who vigorously patrol the territory, often passing through the remains of prehistoric animals. Numerous human skeletons tell the fate of expeditions and researchers that never made their way back home from this perilous place.
