Hellgate: London Previews

Both GameSpy and IGN have written up reports of Hellgate: London's showing at this week's Leipzig Games Convention. A snip from GameSpy's article:
The Summoner has gotten an exceptionally powerful addition to its arsenal in the form of a new elemental power. We had a small fleet of fire and ice elementals we had summoned, but when one of the massive demons guarding the dried out floor of the Thames got too close, we would simply detonate whichever elemental was closest to it for horrific damage. It's a great addition, as long as we don't see engineers with exploding drones in the final build.

And a snip from IGN's article:
While we were talking Bill played through a good portion of a main campaign mission called Scrub the Decks. This mission takes players to London's Angel Passage to clear out the blight that's infesting the land. This particular blight takes the form of giant green boils on the ground that can only be destroyed by a special "cleanser" weapon given to you by the Cabal. In addition to clearing the blight out, you'll also need to confront and defeat the demon who's responsible.
