Hellgate: London Previews

Two more previews of Flagship Studios' Hellgate: London have hit the web, thanks to the game's showing at this year's Leipzig Games Convention. The first is at GameSpy:
Angel Passage was covered in particularly foul boils, grotesque green growths sprouting up from London itself. We fought our way through what felt like kilometers of alleys full of the things, with flying demonic polyps -- just as grotesque as you'd expect -- bursting from the popped boils with vengeance on their just-as-demonic minds. A truly magnificently huge boss demon awaited us at the end of the mission, within an appropriately huge boil. It was a great, gross time.

And the other is at ActionTrip:
We saw the Summoner moving into action against a larger opponent. Apart from skillfully using an assortment of summoning abilities to keep the monster at bay, our heroine (you can choose your character's gender) went on to activate a powerful torrent, which proved mighty handy in a sudden enemy onslaught. It also gave the character a chance to focus on the strongest opponent, while the torrent kept taking out smaller foes. When the killing spree ended, we happily collected the remaining loot and were quickly on our way...
