Fallout 3 E3 Previews

PlayFeed and Infuze are the latest websites to put together Fallout 3 previews based on Bethesda's E3 demonstration. Some "notables" from PlayFeed's article:
-Damaged weapons can be repaired using parts from other weapons, combining features from both weapons (i.e. hunting rifle + machine gun = machine gun with scope).

-Expansive world with NPCs that have schedules and behaviors which continue even when you're not there. Again, Oblivion-esque.

-Favorite chuckle: Handmade sign left outside vault where humanity been holed up since atomic blast: (Let us in, M***er F**kers!)

And a sampling of Infuze's article:
Your game options and avatar customizations will be handled by your "Pip-Boy," a device attached to your arm that remains with you at all times. The area of the world you'll be exploring most is known as the Capitol Waste, and you can fully look through every nook and cranny at will. The Capitol Waste is what remains of Washington, D.C., and you'll find familiar landmarks and real-world locations that are much the worse for wear these days. The game engine allows the whole environment to be completely "chewed up" by the developers -- and by you and your weapons -- to show the destruction and decay of the post-disaster world.

Thanks, NMA.
