Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures Pre-E3 Previews

Three more pre-E3 previews of Funcom's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures bring us into the weekend. The first is at Games Radar:
As you level up your gurning Conan-a-like warrior, you'll also get access to combos. These linked attacks further beef up the combat, acting as 'learned' skills that you assign to either Q or E. Trigger a combo attack and there's also the opportunity to follow it up with another attack, causing a substantially larger amount of damage. Just an hour into our hands on and we can begin to see the potential. For melee-loving, sword-swinging Conan the Barbarian wannabes, Age of Conan provides uniquely satisfying battles, unmatched by any other massive online experience.

The second is at Pro-G:
Traditional PvP multiplayer is also included, which has its own distinct levelling-up system, and blood money currency, but perhaps more interesting is the 'drunken brawling' feature, which challenges players to experiment with different alcoholic combinations before taking on an equally inebriated opponent in a bloody battle. Though this may sound as irrelevant as it is irreverent, it is worth remembering that Conan's world is an adult one indeed, filled with brutality, erotic suggestion and violence. Capture the flag PvP, for example, is replaced by a game of 'capture the head'.

And the third is at Video Games Reloaded:
However we did discover a few new details about the game. One of them being fighting while drinking booze. Apparently you can mix your drinks, get some crazy results or stick with lager, get stronger.etc In either case it sounds like a hell of a time. The team are obviously looking for an 18+ rating with the features of the game like decapitations, gore, prostitution. But of course if those were not in the game it wouldnt be Conan.
