Darkfall Second View

RPG Vault has posted a "second view" article for Adventurine's Darkfall, providing us with another set of commendations, reservations, and considerations for the PvP-heavy MMORPG.
The game's character development system is unusual in that it's skill-based. This should appeal to those who favor the ability to customize the career paths they follow through the choices they make, and to change directions at any time, albeit perhaps not instantly, by re-focusing on different options. For those who prefer more guidance, some so-called prestige classes like Paladin, Assassin, Gladiator and Enchanter will also be available. The PvP element seems to have some distinctive touches. For instance, the races are aligned in groups of three, two and one rather than simply being paired, which could make for an interesting balance and dynamic. Another is its substantial use of sensory cues, both auditory and visual. The graphics appear competitive.
