Happy Holidays!

I'd like to extend a wish of happy holidays to all of you who have stopped by and helped make 2006 a great year for GameBanshee! 2006 will probably always be known as the year where "all role-playing games must be compared to Oblivion!", but hopefully that mindset will fade away as we move into 2007. The coming year looks like it might offer more of a selection for RPG fans than 2006 did, as we'll finally be seeing such titles as Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Witcher, BioShock, and Hellgate: London on store shelves. We may even see Fallout 3 or a third KotOR title in 2007, though it's a little early to get our hopes up on either of those just yet.

Anyway, I hope all of you have a couple of days off during the holidays to kick back and enjoy some RPG goodness. If you've already played through Neverwinter Nights 2 and Gothic 3 a few hundred times, I'd suggest loading up a classic that either you haven't ever played (Anachronox/System Shock 2) or haven't played in awhile (Baldur's Gate II/Fallout) to make the holidays just a little bit warmer.
