A: Not to cheat the answer, but I'll provide several favorite RPGs: Fallout, for providing tremendous freedom and consequence to actions. Planescape: Torment, for crafting a intelligent and resonating story that responded to my actions, and for being a unique work of art. Xenogears, for proving that long-form storytelling in games can be rewarding and compelling. Deus Ex, for giving me choice, choice, choice.
