Neverwinter Nights 2 Reviews

The folks at Gaming Nexus and Game Freaks 365 have both posted new reviews of Obsidian Entertainment's Neverwinter Nights sequel. The review at Gaming Nexus gives the game an overall score of 8.5/10:
Should the single-player campaign leave you jaded and unfulfilled -- in which case, eight to ten duergar will arrive on your doorstep and promptly revoke your D&D fan club card -- then the NWN2 toolkit comes prepackaged with an executive suite of options, ready to make you the next Dungeon Master extraordinaire of the D&D online set; or convince you of how utterly taxing it is to create a truly good game of this magnitude. Caveat emptor, it isn't as drag-and-drop simple as the ADHD-addled crowd might hope for, but the built-in NWN community has already proven their talent in acquiring and utilizing these tools effectively.

While the review at Game Freaks 365 gives the game an overall score of 8.5/10:
Gripes aside, Neverwinter Night 2 provides a great story with a more than solid online community. The visuals are awesome for a game like this. If you love making your mods, you'll love to know that the developers gave you all of their tools so get cracking on your own stories, campaigns and map editors. Overall Neverwinter Nights 2 is a good game, that could have been a great game if the camera and controls got an adjustment.
