Neverwinter Nights 2 Previews

The guys at WorthPlaying and ActionTrip have both published new hands-on previews of Obsidian Entertainment's Neverwinter Nights 2. A snip from WorthPlaying's article:
The singleplayer campaign was built with an eye towards making the player feel like they're part of an epic storyline. You can take various starting feats, such as Flirt, Troublemaker, or Wizard's Apprentice, to determine your character's role in the village where you start and allow you to feel like you're really a part of the world as it stands. Your alignment is determined fluidly by your actions, moving along an axis of Good, Evil, Law, and Chaos.

And a snip from ActionTrip's article:
The artists did an amazing job on Neverwinter Nights 2. This time around, a lot more environments (both dungeons and outdoor settings) were shown and all of them looked very pretty. The game looks a lot better live than it does in the screenshots. Stills simply don't do it justice. The real time reflections in the waters look awesome - seeing the shadows of two tall trees reflecting in the nearby river looked great, and so did the heat effect in one of the "hotter" dungeons.
