OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT AND NEVERWINTER NIGHTS 2 APPEAR AT GEN CON IN INDIANAPOLIS, AUGUST 10-13
Atari's Latest PlayStation®Portable Title, Dungeons & Dragons®: Tactics, Also Demonstrated
Who: Obsidian Entertainment, the prominent video game development studio currently working on the highly-anticipated Neverwinter Nights 2. Neverwinter Nights 2 is set in the popular Dungeons & Dragons® Forgotten Realms™ universe created by Wizards of the Coast. The Neverwinter Nights franchise has sold more than two million copies worldwide and features one of the largest and most active fan communities in all of gaming.
Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics is the first D&D title to ever be developed for a next-generation portable system and authentically utilizes the latest 3.5 rule-set created by Wizards of Coast. The game allows players to take a party of six adventurers into a wide variety of dangerous environments to experience deep and exciting turn-based action on the Sony PSP.
What: Obsidian Entertainment founder Feargus Urquhart as well as lead designer Josh Sawyer and senior producer Ryan Rucinski will speak at this year's Gen Con and provide convention-goers with in-depth insight into the development of Neverwinter Nights 2. Kuju Entertainment's James Brooksby and Adrian Hill will also be in attendance to demonstrate Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics.
