Heroes of Might and Magic V Reviews

A trio of new reviews for Ubisoft and Nival's Heroes of Might and Magic V have reached the 'net. The first is at BonusWeb.cz with an overall score of 91%:
Heroes of Might and Magic 5 is a great game which was worth waiting for. From many points of view is almost the same as others (except the 4th), but that's not bad, because thanks to that, we have here again that great and addictive game as we know, additionaly in really perfect audiovisual conduct with host of new options and great campaigns. The 5th episode is pure comeback as it should be. For me it could not end better. And now leave me alone, I will have some more turns and go to bed...

The second is at Gameminion with an overall score of 4/5:
Gamers looking for a fast paced game that requires twitch reflexes won't find much to like about HOMM 5, but players who don't mind a turn based game, with a large dose of strategy and thinking should enjoy it. The game plays well on lower end PC's since the visuals don't demand a terrific frame rate. Fans of the series should be happy with this latest addition to the series, as it provides a good degree of challenge, a meaty campaign, and improvements to the overall game that provide extra polish and depth without drastically altering the overall gameplay.

And the third is at The Gamers' Temple with an overall score of 78%:
In closing, I think that Ubisoft has a great first try in keeping the Might and Magic series alive. Many of us have waited for years and years, and I think that there is a lot to keep you happy. I do believe, however, that after hearing comments from loyal fans, HOMM VI should have many upgrades and improvements. Until them, I will sit in my favorite old chair, with an old friend who I haven't seen in a while. It isn't perfect, but it's nice to reminisce, catch up on new events, and rekindle that camaraderie that you have missed since you last saw each other.
