The most impressive thing about this game is that choices you make aren't obvious. We saw a demonstration where you must make one of several choices regarding what to do with a prisoner who has discovered the Witchers' secret base. Releasing him gives you information that allows you to help out an old friend near the end of the game, but an innocent woman gets killed due to the leak of the location of your base. Killing him on the spot will save the girl, but your old buddy will not be able to be saved later. There are other choices in this specific instance that we didn't get to see the results of, but similar choices must be made throughout the game.
