Hammer & Sickle Review

GameSpy has written up a two-page review of Hammer & Sickle, giving the soon-to-be-released tactical RPG a disappointing score of 2/5. A paragraph to follow:
Hammer & Sickle's presentation needs work. Like a lot of the game, the music can seem incongruous, failing to evoke anything relating to Europe right after the devastation of World War II. The main theme sounds like an elevator-music version of "What a Wonderful World." It makes Kenny G sound like death metal. Of which, the game launches into lame, third-rate metal instrumentals during combat. The effect is jarring. This is Europe in1949? The voiceovers are equally slapdash. Words and emotions don't always match, and accents often fail to match nationalities. Average sound effects are the order of the day.
