Turbine's official The Lord of the Rings Online website has been updated with a new developer diary penned by lead technical artist Jill "Dwynna" Harrington. In it, Jill tells us what it took to set up the Ringwraith's animation:

The Ringwraith setup posed quite a challenge. He is basically all "skirt," with extra flappy cloth pieces for effect. Cloth is tricky to weight for realistic deformation, and it can be a pain to animate, so I wanted to make a setup that would cause our animators the least amount of difficulties possible.
