Interplay License Acquired By...

According to another SEC filing by Interplay, an unlisted developer has "received an exclusive license" to develop non-MMO titles based on one of their trademarks:
During the 3 months ended June 30, 2005, management entered into a settlement agreement with a developer under which the company was released from $918,000 of accrued royalties. This developer received an exclusive license to a trademark under certain conditions for the purpose of making non massively multiplayer video games.

Considering the timeline and dollar amounts, it's doubtful that they're referring to Bethesda's acquisition of the Fallout license. Perhaps they're talking about Obsidian's acquisition of the Icewind Dale franchise or even another developer picking up Baldur's Gate?
