Gamesradar has published a two-page preview of City of Villains, the upcoming expansion/standalone MMORPG from NCsoft and Cryptic Studios. A snippet:

Which isn't to say that CoV is just an improved City of Heroes with characters who just happen to wear a lot more black and have a taste for skull necklaces. As well as contacts, there are characters called 'Brokers' who can be approached at any time. Rather than tying into the major story arcs, these generate missions based upon the player's leanings.
