World of Warcraft Editorials

A pair of new editorials have surfaced for World of Warcraft - one that offers a new player's perspective and another that takes a look at the debate between casual and hardcore players. The former is at KillerBetties:
My exchange with him was the start of my journey to Horde-ish glory. I enjoyed myself all afternoon abusing lazy peons, delivering food, and gathering mucus until I was stronger, wiser and had cooler stuff. I even took a nice pair of pants off a dead boar. (Don't ask.) Even though I was having fun, after a couple hours I was wondering what all this errand-running had to do with being a Horde Warrior. Checking my map and deciding I'd seen enough cactus for one day, I started jogging toward Orgrimmar.

And the latter is at OGaming:
The new (casual) raid instance Zul'Gurub is being released next content patch, and hopefully when details around that are released the casual players can breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy a smile of satisfaction, but you still need 20 strong players to venture into the raid zone, but ZG does offer a easier lockout timer and epic drops, so even that casual player can once in a while raid and try for that epic set.
