Q: Recently it was mentioned that you spent quite sometime in looking at persian/arabian/egyptian myths/stories in crafting the continent of Qalia. Would you like to elaborate on which myths in particular you were drawn towards?

A: We tried to abstract the elements of the various mythologies that are iconic and will be somewhat recognizable. We are not attempting to remake Persia, Arabia or Egypt, but to make an interesting blend of ideas which can be recognized as Qalian. Inspiration has been drawn from the 1001 Arabian Nights, the various tales of mummies and powerful kings of Egypt, it really has not been one individual source.
