Guild Wars Reviews

Another pair of reviews for ArenaNet's Guild Wars have made their way to the web, and they're both positive. The first is over at The Washington Post:
Best of all, Guild Wars -- unlike every other massively multiplayer release -- costs nothing extra to play each month. There are no subscription fees and no plans for any; the Austin-based developers say they'll make their money by selling expansion packs to gamers. Given how many people Guild Wars has already drawn online, that just might work.

And the second is at eToyChest with an overall score of 90/100:
Guild Wars is a great game. It has a few problems, but the gameplay is fun, the PvP combat is balanced and refreshing, the storyline is engrossing, and the entire experience is superb. ArenaNet has really done a great job with this title, and new expansions and content should serve only to improve the already great formula.
