Q: When I look at artifacts such as Cloudsong and Guard of Valor and the like they gained the option to earn artifact experience in mainland instances or catacombs instances when Catacombs expansion was released. But Mariashas Sharkskin Gloves does not have such an option to earn experience in an instance. Is this an oversight?

A: The Item Mistress (recently promoted to the Queen of Content, and henceforth will be so called) says "Only artifacts that earn experience in dungeon zones were given the option of leveling in an instanced dungeon in Catacombs. If the artifact earned experience in an outdoor zone, then no new options were added."
