Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone Reviews

A trio of reviews for Atari and Stormfront's Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone have been posted over the past week. The first is over at ActionTrip with an overall score of 68/100:
I guess that the fans of the Forgotten Realms will find more appeal in Demon Stone than I did. I do not wish to indicate that Demon Stone is a bad game for anyone except Forgotten Realms fans, but it is simply not good enough. Being short and with no multiplayer it can offer you a several hours' fun, and that is not an entirely bad way to spend your time. You will get some solid, exciting action and the wish to find some dark corners and become invisible, which may result in slicing your postman's throat or performing a jumping attack on your house plant.

The second is at GamerArchive with an overall score of 6/10:
It's not that Demon Stone is a bad game. Far from it in fact. It's just the fact that it's failed the develop the genre one iota from the last title that brings the only reasonably impressive score line. The storyline may be quite impressive, but it isn't enough to save us from playing through basically what we've played through 10 times before. Stormfront obviously have the talent their to create a truly impressive title, but it's going to take a bit more work, and a few more unique ideas before we see that potential unleashed.

And the third is at 1Up with an overall score of 6.5/10:
