Guild Wars Preview

GameDaily is offering up a preview of Guild Wars, based upon their experience with the game's recent World Preview Event. A snippet:
After we were done trying out the PvP action, we went on a quick two-player mission. We made our way toward huge gateway marked by a white barrier. Passing through the barrier led us into our mission zone. I was reminded zone was completely instanced, meaning that all the creatures belonged to us, and no unwanted person could enter. The area was huge, with plenty to explore. Since we were level 20 characters in a beginner zone, the creatures weren't a problem. There was no dispute over items, since all items dropped by creatures start off reserved for specific players with one of our names written over them. If left alone for too long, they would become public, but this was definitely a great alternative to constantly trying to be the first one to loot a body. A very interesting feature is the ability to draw on the radar map, which every player will be able to see. By doing this, players will be able to strategize their method of play in a way no other game offers.
