Vampire: Bloodlines Q&A

FileFront has published a two-page interview with Troika's Leonard Boyarsky, in which the developer answers quite a few questions about Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Here's a snip:
Q: What are some of the more classic elements of RPG that you really stuck with?

A: Even though we kind of put it way behind the scenes because we wanted to give it an action feel, things like your firearm speed, your range of combat abilities and your perception, that has to do with how fast or how long you have to aim and how much damage you do. So we kind of did the RPG aspect in terms of how good you are at certain types of things whether it's lock picking, whether it's being stealthy, or whether it's hacking. And then there's the RPG aspect of going through the game and you can piss people off, or you can be very nice to people. You can play it however you want in terms of how your attitude is for your character you're creating. That's where the heart of the RPG is for us, because you're kind of creating the character you want to play and then playing it.
