Aside from ordinary Player Vs Monster quests, there are also Player Vs Player quests in Guild Wars. The PvP quests are mostly for guilds but if you don't have a guild you can always go to the arena and join a random team to practice your PvP skills. ArenaNet has also promised a sort of Guild playoffs single elimination tournament. These tournaments, according to ArenaNet, will be able to handle hundreds of guilds, and the winners will receive considerable rewards for their success. It should also be noted that guilds can carry their own banners into combat, as well as owning their own guildhall.
