The title is Freedom Force Vs. The Third Reich but it's not really supposed to be a full WWII themed game but rather a time travel-alternate universe storyline this time round. The basic plot is that in the 1960's time line from the first game Freedom Force gets tricked into turning over a character called Time Master over to who they think is a government agent. In reality that agent is in fact a Nazi spy and has apparently used Time Master to back in time to WWII and have Nazi Germany win the war, causing an alternate timeline to be formed (why Freedom Force is not affected by this timeline shift wasn't explaned by the Irrational folks but we think they will figure it out before the game is finish) Of course, Freedom Force doesn't want to live in an alternate Earth run by Nazis so they head back in time themselves to set things right (how they do this was also not explained; again, we think they are saving up some surprises).
