Unlike the previous games in the series, Warlords Battlecry III will possess a huge campaign map filled with various provinces for conquering, as well as side quests meant to strengthen your units for battle. Instead of an endless war, this time around you might try to take on one of the various side quests to boost your level, power, or wealth before deciding to take the province by force. Warlords Battlecry III will also ship with a random map generator, scenario editor, and over twenty skirmish maps for fast gameplay with friends. As a growing trend in game development, the development team is still toying with suggestions and feedback from fans, so multiplayer tweaks and new options haven't been set in stone; moreover, the game's final multiplayer settings won't be divulged until the game's release this fall.
