Johnn Four Interview

The Neverwinter Vault has conducted an interview with BioWare's Johnn Four, asking the newly hired webmaster several questions about his previous web work, how he was able to get the job, and more. An excerpt:
Q: What kinds of games have you played over the years? And what types of games or genres do you usually tend to enjoy?

A: In the pen & paper arena, I've mostly played D&D. It seemed to be the lingua franca of gamers wherever I travelled. I also quite enjoy Ars Magica, Rolemaster , Amber, and GURPS. Some day, I'd also like to try Hero 5th Ed., Paranoia, Mage, and Hackmaster.

My first computer was a Commodore 64. Since then, I've owned Amigas, Macs, and PCs. One of my favourite games was Hammarubi for the Apple II. You ruled a country and decided how much grain went to feed the people and how much went to seed next year's crops, among other things. If you made poor choices your people starved and said nasty things about you. Ultima IV and Bard's Tale hooked me for many, many hours, as did Civilization. Right now, I'm playing D&D Heroes for the Xbox and Project Gotham 2.

I also love board games. Settlers of Catan, Game of Thrones, and Modern Art top my faves list. I also like Carcassonne, Starfarers of Catan, and Bohnanza.
